Samys is selling the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 and has this long-awaited lens in stock via Amazon.

Excellent! But now the next two lenses I want to purchase cost only $3000 together (12-35/2.8 and the 35-100/2.8). Oh, well...suck it up and start saving.

Yeah, they got 12 in and they lasted less than 1/2 a day. I saw the stock notice here and 43 rumors and called in the morning. It was delivered next day (Fri) at my office. Left work too late to get any real shots yet. But it is smaller and lighter than I thought even after carefully looking at the specs. I saw reports that it was not comfortable without the grip but I did not think so. I find it much better balanced on the EM5 than the P14-140. I have the grip and will use them together sometimes but it does not bother me without the grip. I'll work on some shots over the weekend. I'm especially curious how it works for portraits. I have a 3 yr old that does not stay still for the time it takes with my great prime lenses. I'm sure I'll eventually give in and get the excellent Oly 75 also but I can't imagine how rare it would be to get the 3 yr old properly framed in front of a fixed 150 equivalent.
