With all the talk about how great the Panasonic 25mm f1.4 DG lens is Im considering buying one. This may by a stupid question but do you need an adaptor on the OMD to use this 25mm f1.4 lens?
    Thanks for your help.

No adapter needed. All Panasonic and Olympus :43: lenses are interchangeable on any :43: bodies. The P25/1.4 is a killer lens on the E-M5.

Make sure you get the micro 4/3 one and not the 4/3 version though for the Om-d....

Make sure you get the MICRO 4/3 lens and not the older 4/3 lens though...

Couple things I've experienced with the OMD and the Pany 25: The bad first, your more than likely gonna get some sounds coming from the lens on occasion, kinda like a squirrel chirping sound... doesn't happen all the time but can. Doesn't mean much of anything but could be slightly annoying. The other thing I noticed is that the lens is lighting fast and works great in low light. When I say lightning fast, I mean lighting fast.

Thank you all. This is all good information. Glad to know its good for low light and lightning fast AF. I want to take some indoor photos of my granddaughter without a flash so this is just what I'm looking for.

It really is a terrific lens for indoor shots. I rarely use a flash with the 25.
