I went on a trip to London this week, and did a lot of sightseeing.
I took P14, P20 and O45 with me (whole kit fits in the pockets of my fleece.) When I got home, I realised 85% of all my shots were taken with this lens. Love it!

I see the the cranes are still there as well as the ongoing construction. That part of London has always been like that for as long as I can remember, it's never going to end!

Yes! As far as I can tell (e.g. Peter Ackroyd's wonderful book) the place has been a building site pretty much constantly for the last 2000 years! But it's choc full of great opportunities for photography, and I'm sorry I only get the opportunity once every two three years.

This is a photo I've wanted to take for a long time and it came out quite different from what I was envisioning. I wanted to take a picture of this valley at night with stars...however, the night I went there, there was a full moon...I decided to go for it anyway. This is the result (this was taken at around 2 a.m.!)
