Just picked up my third copy of this lens !! I let the first go because I had bought the Oly 17mm f1.8. I let the second go because a friend was getting into m43 and I made a generous offer! I saw this one on eBay, "used", but never used so to speak. At £125 it was a bargain. Fantastic little piece of gear - small, light, crazy sharp. I think it'll be third time lucky!

Small, sharp, cheap and a bit of character...what's not to love? Wonderful little lens. :)

A walk at our local woods yesterday - the photo of the ugly geezer was taken by my youngest daughter (aged 10).

Terrific night shots. I was curious what the latest version of the software denoiser I use (with new low-light mode) could do with the sky. Seems not too bad?

Terrific night shots.
Thanks. Going out with the 20mm is a lot of fun. :) (Although I had to hurry in the end. You can see that it was 8:30pm, and I had to be home at 9:00pm, because of the curfew in the Netherlands...)

Definitely! I hadn't applied any noise reduction. I'm OK with a bit of noise, especially in black-and-white night scenes like this.

We're very fortunate in Lincolnshire to be surrounded by a vast amount of aviation history, most of it from WW2. These images are from the old RAF Wellingore site - it closed in August 1945, but some bits remain. A few defensive pill boxes and the old Battle HQ for example. It also runs alongside the old Ermine Street Roman road.

John Magee - the Canadian pilot who wrote 'High Flight' was stationed at Wellingore during WW2, and is buried in a CWG at Scopwick, a couple of miles away to the East. He was killed in a mid-air collision, his aircraft hitting the ground not far from our own village. Guy Gibson spent a short time here too, in fact shooting down his first enemy aircraft over Skegness having taken off from Wellingore in a Beaufighter in March 1941.
