Picked up this lens in December. Still getting the feel for it, but I may finally have my Rollei B35 replicated in m43.

I really wish I could put my finger on why I love this little gem of a lens so much - this is a sooc jpeg (Mono2 with slight tweeks & without grain) at the end of our house drive this morning. A foggy, cold Lincolnshire day:

Absolutely.

As I commented on a thread somewhere else on Mu43, I've owned every incarnation of X100 up to and including the F. Every one is a superb little camera, no question, but recently I had to make the choice between my 100F and the Pen F. The Pen won.

Why?

Its images are sharper, it has (for me) a more useful set of tools at my disposal - notably the 'Art wheel'. IBIS, flippy screen, IBIS, a flippy screen, a MUCH better wireless interface with my phone, IBIS, and despite the Fuji being lauded as having lots of 'analogue' controls, the Pen is actually no different in terms of physical, non-menu-delving adjustments on-hand.

Oh...and the Pen has IBIS, thought it would be worth mentioning.

With the P20 it is one hell of a tool, and I've no doubt the small-form Lumix bodies get the best from it too.

Yeah, even though the new x100 seems to be much sharper, very few lenses can match p20.

Im using the em5 II but have many times thought about the pen f, but I love shooting raw so I guess I won't use that color mode wheel anyway.

Nah, I stick with my camera, until current bodies are dirt cheep on the used market
