Terrific night shots. I was curious what the latest version of the software denoiser I use (with new low-light mode) could do with the sky. Seems not too bad?

Thanks. Going out with the 20mm is a lot of fun. (Although I had to hurry in the end. You can see that it was 8:30pm, and I had to be home at 9:00pm, because of the curfew in the Netherlands...)
We're very fortunate in Lincolnshire to be surrounded by a vast amount of aviation history, most of it from WW2. These images are from the old RAF Wellingore site - it closed in August 1945, but some bits remain. A few defensive pill boxes and the old Battle HQ for example. It also runs alongside the old Ermine Street Roman road.
John Magee - the Canadian pilot who wrote 'High Flight' was stationed at Wellingore during WW2, and is buried in a CWG at Scopwick, a couple of miles away to the East. He was killed in a mid-air collision, his aircraft hitting the ground not far from our own village. Guy Gibson spent a short time here too, in fact shooting down his first enemy aircraft over Skegness having taken off from Wellingore in a Beaufighter in March 1941.

This is a great walkabout lens on my Pen-F. It was a bracketed shot with a selection of mono and colour profiles but ultimately ended up with a monochrome conversion using DXO's Filmpack that I'm currently trialling (plus a few minor lightroom tweaks). Its so easy and quick to get a look that you like (and this is coming from a Silver EfEx Pro 2 fan).

Could onyone tell me what any nuance between lens' generation I & II? Or Is there any improvement of gen II compared to gen I?
I want to buy one as the price (~ $100) of a used one is irresistible.

I used them both years ago and couldn't notice a difference either. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, I think some folks felt the mk1 was preferred.
I just picked up the original for $110. I was a bit surprised to see a $50 or so difference in price vs the II.

Keep in mind that there's sample-to-sample variation (manufacturing tolerances) that's not negligible that you'll find for all lenses, which could readily explain all the sharpness differences and some other things. So one v1 vs. one v2 may be highlighting more of that than anything else.
As for legit differences besides the look, I think there's supposed to be differences in lens coatings that do explain different behavior with flare for v2 (slightly improved).
