Here is a quick pic of some flowers from my garden taken with the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 on my Olympus E-P1. I am amazed how good it is, even better than when it was on the Gf1 i think...just!

Very first GF1 image

Here's the very first image from my long-awaited GF1 .. I quickly set-up the camera the same way I have set-up my Leica D-Lux 4 (raw+jpg; dynamic b&w; single point af; center-weighted metering). Processed using Silkypix DS Pro v4.1.34.0 + Topaz Denoise 4

Buddy (one of our 3 rescued dogs) has a "Phantom of the Opera" face and always endures my dynamic range test shots. I am well pleased with this first image.

Another of Buddy with the 20mm

Very cool.

Thanks, Pelao .. we think Buddy is pretty cool as well. Here's another image of him loafing around (again with the 20mm) ...

20mm

My new 20mm arrived late yesterday, so this morning I went for my first little outing with it. I only had a few free minutes to play with it while shopping downtown, but I managed to get one decent keeper:

It seems to focus slower than my other m4/3 lenses, but aside from that my first impressions are very positive. Brilliant little lens.

Thanks - she's my wife's cousin's daughter (not sure of my technical relation to her). I had the camera by my side and was leaning over to talk with her when I took the photo - which explains why she was looking up and not at the camera

It's just such a versatile lens. A couple from a walk near Falkland in Fife:

If I had to have one lens, I guess this would be it.
