I went to use my Panasonic 20 on my E-PL5 today and it's not cooperating. The camera powers on and shows an image on the LCD, but the lens won't focus and the camera won't take a picture. When I tap on the screen to select an AF point, or press the shutter halfway. MF doesn't work either.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot and possibly fix this? The lens worked the last time I used it a couple weeks ago, so this is a relatively new development. Both my Olympus 14-42IIR and 40-150R still work fine. I bought the P20 used so don't have a warranty. If I can't fix it then I'll have to look for a replacement...

Maybe check the contacts on the lens ?

If you take a photo does the EXIF data indicate the correct focal length (ie its detected the lens) ?

If you've got a friendly store nearby take the lens in and try it on a different body.

    Good luck!

I took a dry q-tip to the contacts on the lens and tried again. Still nothing.

I can't check EXIF data because the camera won't fire when the lens is attached.
