I am a big fan of this lens. (And my GF1's b&w mode, too)

I'm really loathe to admit it but I do, sometimes, see a bit of the fabled 'pop' with this lens....but maybe it's there...maybe not ..who knows? :speechless:
But, I really love this lens...cost, size, weight, IQ...with the occasional purple fringing on my Oly controlled pretty well with DXO PL3

Used with the MCON-PO2 close-up lens. Getting a bit closer, combined with the14mm's DOF, makes semi-macro shots like this quite easy.

With the hard CV19 lock-down at the moment traveling far isn't an option.
Fortunately there is a little reserve at the end of our street that provides some photo ops.

The truth is that this lens has a very nice contrast rendering that many lens is not capable to produce, including the 12-32 pancake zoom. The 12-32 has a very rough contrast compared to the 14mm f2.5. This little 14mm is a special lens.

It is unexpectedly sharp, and has served me well in landscape photography. Not bad at night, either.
