Just got the wide converter. Like it a lot!

I used the 14+DMW-GWC1 combo until a really good deal on a 9-18mm came my way. At f/5.6, the IQ was better than I had expected. The 9-18mm is better still, but one would hope so, for the price.
At a Christmas Tree Farm. In the first shot I was at the edge of the trailer along with this guy -- absolutely no way to get even an inch further back. So I was glad I had the extra width of the GWC1. The 14 alone just wouldn't have given the same impression.
this thread needs some love I reckon
Night time on the beach
It will take me time to get used to this width.
Although I now have the 9-18 & he 7.5mm, the GWC1 and Pany 14 make a great "2 lens" mini travel kit. Won't be selling my anytime soon.
I'm rather pleased with mine. I use it quite a bit, but forget to note which shots I've used it on, & the EXIF doesn't tell you either. Says something about the image quality I guess

The more I use it, the more I like it. Sure, it's a tiny bit soft in the extreme corners, but what else is out there for the size, weight & speed that works dramatically better? The 14 pancake weighs nothing, the converter only adds a feather more

Few more. Also in the cars thread. I want to update to a wider prime. When one becomes available. But then I go & shoot these, & wonder if I really need to.

I like that the converter gets me another few mm, but I don't like the distortion it brings in. It took me some effort to remove distortion from this image.
Quite a nice combo. I regretted that I sold it.

used with image stacking (my first attempt) to make a better SNR astro image. The milky Way (and Southern Cross)
a little coma distortion, but not bad really
