    Hi,

I'm thinking of upgrading my Olympus 14-42 R kit lens to the Panasonic 14-45 for better image quality. Can someone explain, could I switch off the IBIS on the camera and use the Panasonic lens OIS instead? Or doesn't that function on an Olympus body?

    Thanks,

    Chris

  2. You can use the OIS on any Panasonic lens that has a physical switch on the side to activate it. Just don't have both systems active at the same time.

    YES.

(I hear it's especially effective for video with this lens on Olympus bodies t00.)

Thanks both. Think I will get it.
