Noticed no one started a thread yet for the kit lens that started to ship with the G2.

Since the 20mm and several adapted lenses occupy my cameras most of the time, I haven't shot much with this lens yet, but here are a few shots from October for starters ...

Now let's see some from other shooters ...

This is the Rodney Dangerfield of lenses, it gets no respect. Obviously there are better lenses out there but it can still produce damned good images.

Show: Lumix 14-42 Image

Since the panny 14-42mm lens gets so little love, I thought I would start a thread for Images from this great little lens. So feel free to post up some images.

Nice, kvg, I especially like the beautiful detail inside the blue flower. This should be a great thread.

I replaced this lens with a 14-140 and I think the 14-42 is better on the wide end and I might buy another.

KVG... I like the 14-140 a lot, but don't see it replacing a 14-45. If you're going to buy another 14-42, you might consider looking around for a 14-45, if you can find one. Better build quality and known to have a bit of an edge in IQ as well.
