I use the 12-35 so much that my other lenses must be jealous. Still love it.

This past week, I took the G9 and 12-35mm II out on a road trip to Pacific Coast Highway for some landscape tests. This is a Bracket 5 shot HDR. Just exposure blend, and some local color adjustments to the shrubs. This is part of my latest YouTube 4K project video.

On our last trip, I was lucky enough to have two new lenses to play with: a PL 100-400 and a PL 8-18. Those two lenses spent most of their time on my G85. Meanwhile, my trusty 12-35/2.8 was mounted to my GX7 for those times when I needed something other than a "specialty" focal length. Despite the middle-of-the-road focal lengths and an almost 5-year old camera, that combination still delivered some of my favourite images from the trip, despite me being in the honeymoon period with the two other lenses. Amazingly, I haven't even lost the hood, yet, although it did fall off once during the trip.

I thought I would cross post this photo here, to demonstrate how crisp this lens is at f5,6.
