Looked on the Panasonic site as well as other sites and searched these forums, but could not find out if these two lenses focus and/or zoom internally... The reason I ask is because the SHG 14-35 and 35-100 do both and wondered if these highly remarked lenses do function the same way.

I know they are not the same as SHG lenses and are in a completely different league, but it would be nice to know when paying the premium for these lenses.

    Thanks all

Both are internal focus, the 35-100 is internal zoom also.

So, the zoom on the 12-35 telescopes like my 14-54mm? Not a huge deal, but it's great to hear that the longer focal length 35-100 is all internal. Easier to hand-hold if the lens is not 2 feet long like my 50-200

Yes, the 12-35mm telescopes in and out when zoomed.
