I recently tried the Panasonic 12-32mm lens (from the DMC-GM1) with the BMPCC and it worked well. The 12-32mm is extremely compact when not in use - about the same size as the Panasonic 20mm f1.7, which makes it convenient for packing. The zoom range from wide angle 24mm equivalent to mild telephoto 64mm equivalent is a very usable range for walking around and in close quarters.

My understanding was that the crop factor on the BMPCC meant that all 4/3 or m4/3 lenses were in fact 2.7x and not 2x.

what Ray said (2.7x or 3x the crop factor) and, forgive my ignorance without the focus ring, how's the AF with BMPCC?

Yes, right you are. Forgot about the crop factor. I have just gotten used to doing the conversion for mu43 lol.

AF is fine - I just push the focus button and it focuses well. Still learning the BMPCC. I have some fast c-mount lenses I picked up on ebay that I want to try.

It'd be nice if the BMPCC came with a true m4/3 sized sensor, so that all 4/3 and m4/3 lenses worked at the true focal length.
