Lucky shot with G3. sooc.

Focus is hit and miss for me, but when it focuses right, wow!

Sometimes 300mm just isn't enough;

Sometimes it's adequate;

First two images shot in the rain, and cropped from 4608x3456 to 2400x1800; last image scaled down to 2400x1800.

Early morning (6.23am, 14th October) shot of the Moon & Venus from our driveway, PP'd to bring out the Earth light portion of the Moon (the very faint stars are part of the constellation Leo Major):

I photographed this redhead duck using my G9 and Panasonic 100-300ii lens...I opted for the 100-300 over the 100-400 as I wanted an all-round nature lens, the 100-400 would have been fine for just bird & wildlife shooting though. Plus, it was bigger and heavier. Anyway, I think I made the right choice.

GX8 & 100-300 MkII jpeg with a touch of micro contrast in dxo. Wish I had it set to RAW at the time! I was so impressed with myself as they were constantly moving around, this was a split second shot.

A very friendly robin decided to fly and perch very close to me during my last walk, which let me take a lot of pictures of it. This is the one I like the most. This lens can certainly deliver impressive results under the right conditions.
