Thank you @Orbmiser@Orbmiser. If you get a chance you should go, it's so beautiful worth the drive.

Would be great don't drive tho. And finding a way down there would be a major hassle.
May at some point as also would like to visit Crater Lake. And make a trip to southern coast area.
Unfortunately all my saving cash is going towards gear for next 6 months or so.

Oh I see. Crater Lake was another place that I wanted to see but because the lack of time and snow I couldn't visit.

  6. Great work Nam. It looks like you had some fantastic clouds to compliment the scenery.

    Thanks for posting. Nice images.
Definitely an interesting place. I was there in the summer, but it was a little overcast so my pictures don't have the tell-tale pop that the OP captured so well.
If you go, visit nearby Blue Canyon. It's very 20170715_203635. nice.
Painted Hills does attract a lot of tourists and, while I was there, misbehaving clowns.

  12. Very nice! The solar eclipse went right over this area, would have been surreal but I didn't want to risk the crowds that may / may not have gathered. I'm surprised I haven't seen any videos from there o_O I caught it well enough in any case.

A favorite place of ours. There are three units so visit the other two if you get a chance.

  16. I like #4 the most because I haven’t seen that shot before. That is from that trail that goes up on the right from the parking lot correct? Great set!!!

    Thank you all.
#4 is indeed looking back when you hike up from the parking lot.
The weather was good but the sun was behind the clouds most of the time we were there.
