Outlet Store - Digital Cameras, Lenses, Accessories | Olympus
I have overpaid for used lenses I think, compared to some of these prices.
This is why the refurb store dries up within hours too.
I don't seem to be able to open the link. What's the website?
Does this help?
Sure does, thanks very much!
An short alternative you can type in is getoylmpus.com/outlet
M.Zuiko ED 12-40mm f2.8 PRO (Reconditioned)
Seems like good price. As last week the Shutterbug down the street quoted me $799 new.
Went in today and told the guy was in last week and got a $799 quote last week and would like to get one.
He rang it up and was $850. Said Whoa! it was $799 that I was quoted.
He said that promo was over. I said why didn't you tell me that before charging my card?
The transaction took the cash out of my card in a micro-second. Now have to wait a day or two to get it back?
And due to my limited Direct Express card can't add it to my Paypal due to not being a verifiable Bank Credit card.
Can't add to my Paypal. So missed out on a great price 12-40 f2.8 here on the forums.
Nothing but "Pain in the Mikta" and obstacles trying to get this lens.
Wonder how fast Olympus is about processing and shipping on how long it takes to get one.
Interesting. A refurbed M.Zuiko 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 R down to $60 is pretty amazing bang for the buck! That’s only $22 more than the refurb body cap lens. Sure, it’s an oldie, and plasticky, and too slow for anything but daylight, but it’s also more than adequately sharp over most of its range. I have some fine images from mine over the years.
From my previous orders it usually takes them 1-2 days to ship.
I ordered a jacket with my points and got it the next day. Perks of living in PA, but we also get stuck w/sales tax.
I'm expecting Olympus to start giving them away for free any day now
They charge tax for orders shipped to CA too.
Looks like this is US only, bugger..!!
All right, and there's my 12-40mm for my "inherited" E-M1! I saw the ultra low price of the 40-150mm too, and nabbed one. I had the older one on my G2, I think I even posted an example image to show its sharpness on a post like 4-5 years ago. The R was the same lens, if I remember, just a different color, and a validation that it was video AF ready. Now, do I also grab myself a 25mm f/1.8 or just continue to commandeer my brother's since he doesn't use it often enough . . . I think I'll hold off, personally.
Last, I think I'd get myself a used 14-42mm for $60-$80 before I got the body cap lens, myself. It's easy enough to add in post if I want a cool vintage, low-fi effect, and it's an E-M1, not a GF7. I'm not making it too much smaller.
I’ve been waiting to try a telephoto and the 75-300 is tempting, I don’t see them used as often.
There is a grey market seller who regularly has new 12-40's listed on eBay in the $525-$575 range, if you are ok with grey market.
I'm Ok for any with price vs. condition, use and accessories included.
Just got tired and pulled the trigger on Ebay for $545.
when I have the dough, there's nothing in stock.....when I don't...... Eventually, I'll have the money when that silver Pen-F shows up there.
i picked up the 12mm f2.0 for $428. most used ones were about that price or slightly more.
