Owen G. Glenn Building (OGGB)

Discussion in 'Scenic, Architecture, and Travel' started by wjiang, Jul 5, 2015.

  1. I'm currently doing intercity commutes to attend evening lectures at the OGGB (home of the the University of Auckland's Business School). Packing a light day bag for flying, I had the GM5, 7.5FE, PL15, PL25, O45, and a Gorillapod knock-off. This was my first 'serious' outing with the GM5, I'd say it did pretty well. These were mostly hand-held, so some are a bit noisier than I'd like - I couldn't really find anywhere to set the Gorillapod most of the time (next time I think I'll stick to my backpack sized travel tripod).

Starting the tour, here's the courtyard:

7.5FE, Rectilinear. This was the only one where I managed to use the Gorillapod. I had it hooked on the glass/metal railing (you can see it on the right side), but couldn't have a) framed it or b) got myself out of the shot, if it wasn't for the WiFi remote function.
