It really seems to be a great time to be in a market for a compact system camera (CSC) these days.

In the past year, we have seen some great enthusiast-oriented camera bodies and lenses across all formats. There are some exciting times ahead.

    Mid 2011 - Olympus Zuiko 45 mm f/1.8, 12 mm f/2 and Panny Leica 25 mm f/1.4
    Late 2011 - Sony NEX-7 and Zeiss 24 mm f1.8

    Early 2012 - Fuji X-Pro 1, 3 XF mount lenses
    - Olympus OM-D E-M5

    Mid 2012 - Lumix X 12-35 mm f/2.8
    - Zuiko 75 mm f/1.8

    Late 2012? - Sony NEX-6, 35 mm f/1.8 OSS
    - Fuji X-E1
    - Panny GH3?

We can fight to the death about which format will succeed, but no doubt competition is great.

Now to sit back and save money while I enjoy my current setup.
