One more adapter question

Magnified manual focus works fine on my G1 with Oly and Panny lenses but doesn't work with my Voigtlander "M" adapter. On my EPL1 I can just push the zoom button with adapted lenses so I'm wondering if there is a workaround for the G1?

There are no electronics in M mount glass to let the camera know that you are focusing, so there is no workaround or alternate adapter that will activate the zoom focus. So far that only works with 4/3 and Micro 4/3 lenses.

Push the 'left' button in the 5-way group on the rear of the camera. This shows the yellow focus box. You can move the box with the left/right/up/down buttons, or make it bigger/smaller with the dial on the front of the camera. When happy with where you want to focus, press the middle button in the 5-way group to zoom in.

Spot on gcogger, I use the voigtlander leica screw lenses and other legacy lens, magnified focus works every time just as described.
