    Hello all,

I grabbed my just aquired refurbished E-PL2 and went to a one-day excursion on the mountains of Peloponnese, in Greece where I live. I was glad to have in my hands a camera that delivers the famous olympus colors, since I enjoy landscape photography a lot.

    A panoramic one:

Great shot! Did you use a polarizer?. I love the Olympus blues as well, but ask because the sky looks uneven, which would be typical of a polarizer w/wide angle lens.

No, I have ordered a polarizer but hasn't arrived yet :(

Actually this is a panoramic picture, stitched on autopano pro, and maybe the exposure compensation on all frames rendered the sky this nice blue colour..But in reality the colors were very nice due to the low temperature and the lack of haze..

  6. Fantastic! What is the approximate angle-of-view of the stitched image?

Well, I don't know how to calculate this, but the picture consists of 4 vertical ones at 14mm (28mm equiv) overlapping no more than 20% each other.

Another one, again stitched from 4 vertical ones but now cropped to 3:2. This is a nice trick to do sometimes, to get a wider angle of view without the distortion of the ultra-wide lens.

Two outstanding pictures, what a great start with your new camera. However, it is you that must take the credit, not the camera! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

The remnants of the Cistercian monastery appear through the fog near Lake Stymfalia in the Peloponnese mountains.
