I was wondering what the options are for an OMD half case?

Are there any options that include the battery grip and additional battery?

Here's the case I settled on in the end: New Cow Leather Half Case for Olympus OM-D E-M5 Black body case | eBay

It appears to be a Gariz ripoff. I like that it has no branding except on the bottom and that it only cost me $59.90 shipped.

The frame with the light brown case below is a different case altogether. The black one I bought has a metal bottom like the Gariz.

The new Ciesta one has a built-in Arca-Swiss plate. I saw it last week in HK, and loved it.

There's the JNK one, pricier but nicer.

As for me, I just went with one of the really cheapo pleather ones. Maybe someday I will have a nice one made but it might interfere with my awesome JLM Grip. Instead I'll probably just skin it when the warranty runs out.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Amin
I am considering the same one, without metal plate. Do you experience any difficulty when swivel le screen? Especially when lifting the bottom part of the screen?
also I would like to know how does the case actually "stay" on the body. Is it screwed.
    thanks

Did you get it! Impatient to know. I wrote an email to vendor, i have been told that it touches the bottom of the screen a bit. But still no idea whether it could be a pb or not.

any update on the non-leather bottom version? How's the fit and finish? quality? Do you prefer the non-metal or metal for any reason? TIA!

Leather bottom version was good quality. No issues moving the screen, and yes there was a screw to fasten the case to the tripod mount. SD card and battery were easily accessible. I previously had the Gariz for E-P3 and think that had better leather than the Leather Explorer, but the latter was nice as well, plus no logo and less expensive. Both are recommended.

That's pretty cool, I especially love the vintage colour.
