Hi there, I just bought an Olympus OMD-EM5 with the Olympus 45mm 1.8 and have started to try to learn the camera.

I have a problem when I am trying to focus in S-AF mode. When I half press the shutter button to fix the focus, it doesn't seem to show as in focus in the EVF nor on the rear display. However, when I fully press the shutter and take the picture, the resulting image has the target in focus.

Is this expected behaviour or is it something I'm doing wrong?

This is not the default behaviour. But in the setup you can change the behaviour at half press. If you're unsure if you have changed this setting, it might be best to restore the camera to the factory settings.

Thank you, the reset fixed the problem.
