Nice read, looks a bit more focussed on wildlife and macro than the old magazine (that seemed to have more "editorial" content?). Hopefully the 100mm macro is nearer to reality judging by the comments from the new COO?

It looks like new products outside of the lens roadmap are coming this year.

"We plan to build on the strengths of the Olympus system and will bring you exciting news as the year goes on – even more than we have already hinted at in our product roadmap."

It looks they will be placing a greater emphasis on Field Macro as well.

Excelling in the intricate details of macro photography – and the perhaps less widely recognized genre of field macro – will also form part of our direction and system specialism in the coming years. More of that in a future issue.

That surprised me, a nicely done e magazine for a company undergoing transition. Thanks for the link!

Noticed the 40-150mm f/2.8 seemed to be a very popular lens. Figured the 300mm f/4 would be too, but some had the 8mm fisheye in their bag which seemed odd for wildlife shooters.

I missed the old Olympus Magazine - especially since they published my photos every now and then in the Reader's Gallery. Great to see OMDS doing this. And they have been pretty active in SoMe lately so it seems they do have plans for making this thing work instead of just JIP selling it part by part.

Actually, no. It was @GetOlympus.
Although I subscribe to both because the content and photographers are different. Ultimately, they're using content from all over the world, which I like, rather than just content from North America.
Thanks, but I could not find a post about the new magazine on @GetOlympus. Maybe it was mentioned in the "stories".

I have promised myself to not to get any new lenses in 2021. But if 100mm macro is true then, boy oh boy, I may disappoint myself...
Nevertheless the magazine looks promising. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the new company to be agile and successful.
