I just encounter an odd behaviour with the OM-D.
I was shooting in my apartment, not really well lit, I limit the iso to 1250 and shutter speed at about 1/40.

    Scenario 1 - Aperture priority
The shutter sound is a bit slow and long, and the blackout time of the lcd screen is like 1 sec.

Scenario 2 - Change to ART mode (tried a couple)
The shutter sound is noticeably faster and the blackout time of the lcd was almost non-existant.

Scenario 3 - Change back to Aperture priority mode but choose the picture mode to be like grainy film or pop art, don't think it matters. The shutter sound and lag is same as scenario 1.

Any idea what causes this difference? When shooting with the Art mode, my iso and shutter speed is same as scenario 1 and 3. I also tried this on two different lens and same result.

Art mode may have no noise reduction ?
