OM-D, Erratic frame numbering.

    Now why is that?

    My last shot was numbered P8050215, todays shots start off _8110219.

    I've done nothing I know of to intiate this.

    B****y frustrating.

    Yeah, Olys filenames have the date (which I love). The underscore is from using Adobe RGB color space.

    How do you get the EM-5 to number photos with the date? I looked in the settings and didn't find the option of doing that, only to change the lettering/numbering for the file name for adobe and sRGB. Thanks in advance.

    ALL Olympus cameras do that by default. You can choose anything you want for the first character, but if you change any of the others you lose the date feature as the custom character in the 2nd & 3rd positions overwite the date.

    BTW, since there's only one character for the month when you get to October letters are used for the month, hexadecimal numbering...123456789ABC, A=10, B=11, C=12.
