Which of the 2 body colors would you buy if you have the budget? Let's see which is more popular.
Silver. However, if I didn't have a black E-P3, I think I might go for black. Both colors look fantastic to me.
Since no difference in price, I bet most will choose silver...though if they give discount price I don't mind to have the black. Hope oly give us the weather sealed adapter bonus like in Japan....
Same here Amin. I might get the silver. I am still contemplating on selling my present camera + kit lens (black E-P3).
I think I'm going black. So stealthy.
Silver for the silly reason that silver lenses will look kind of bad on the black body, but the silver body has enough black and silver in it that both black and silver lenses would look fine.
Yes, the Oly 45 looks odd on my GF1.
If I were considering an OMD I'd probably be more inclined to choose silver.
I'd go silver, but I'm really trying to resist. Save my money for that 75/1.8 later this year!
I love my E-P3 and plan to keep and use it for a long time. I hope they kept the same battery for the E-M5!
Black for Accessories
I REALLY like the silver body, but I think it looks funky with the battery grip. Of course, I don't suppose a silver battery grip would look great either! I don't mind the silver lenses on my black E-P3 now anyway.
Silver, no question about it! If I want to go stealth, I've got a black EPL2.
i like silver for that retro look
The E-M5 uses a BLN-1 battery. It looks a bit more rounded than the BLS batteries.
Olympus - BLN-1
Silver is definitely more retro, but I've decided to pre-order the black. The silver lenses will look a little out of sorts on it, but it's stealthier for street shots, especially as you can now use it like a waist level finder with the flip up screen.
Black for the main body, silver for the backup or silver for the main body, black for the backup?
One body can be set up different from the other and the color coding can help id the camera for the shooter or an assistant.
I'll have to go black ...
... because the silver would provoke lustful envy in my photog friends.
One thing that bothers me about the silver though - it doesn't seem to match the lustre the silver lenses such as the 12mm f/2 have... Just me?
