OM 50mm f1.8 or Minolta 50mm f1.7?

    Hi,

    I need your opinion between these two lens, which is better? Sharpness etc, bokeh etc. thanks!!!

    That's a fairly subjective call - it will be a matter of personal preference. I have the OM but I suspect you would be happy with either. Did you check the adapted lens threads here in the forum for some examples? :smile:

    Yes, i just view the thread. But in terms of color tone, which one is better?

    Really no practical difference. 50 mm lens designs were not difficult to engineer and execute 30 years ago if you were a good lens maker. Olympus, Canon, Minolta, Nikon, Pentax, and others all employed excellent lens makers.

    The second of these was taken with the 45mm. The first was taken with a no name 50mm lens, not even from one of the major makers. Both at F4.
