Seem to be a few of the leather straps with rubber shoulder pads around for sale. Just wondering if anyone who used to use one of these film SLR's can remember if they are comfortable or not?

    Thanks

Yeah, they're comfy. Neoprene seems to be the most comfy so far, but as long as the strap is wide enough you should have no comfort issues. Especially with the lightweight bodies we have in our system. ;)

I use the old Oly leather strap. You'll find Nikon's is nearly identical. Oly used a metal tab in the loops, Nikon used plastic mostly. That just may be a variance in the age of the two straps I had though. I find them the fastest to put on/off and most comfortable.

  4. Leather should be okay if it hasn't hardened with age. There's always this type of strap, but it can be a bit itchy.
