I went out this morning to play around with my new Ol 9-18 and a new eyefi wireless pro x2 card. I noticed that for some reason I was having difficulty with the camera in that I wasn't able to see through the lens despite it being on. I changed batteries for a new fully charged one and the same problem. A couple of tries resetting and back to normal I also noticed that I was getting a weird static effect in my EVF. I am about to go on holiday and the last thing I want is to have camera problems. I went home and checked my warranty and found out i had 3 days left before it expired!! So I went to JB Hi Fi, the store where I purchased the camera and asked about resolving my problem. To their credit the young sales person spoke with the manager and the response was that they would replace the body. Took my old body back with the receipt and picked up a new body, no problems. Now that's a good story for me and a credit to JB Hi Fi and to Olympus' s warranty IMHO.
