I happened to have the Olympus USA sale page open last night (https://www.getolympus.com/us/en/featured_weekly_deals), and several of the sales were specified to end on February 11th. So I left the page open in a browser window. This morning in another tab, I went back to the page to see what the differences were. There were some:
  • E-m1x body only previously was $500 off the MSRP ($2499.99). Now, it is $400 off the MSRP ($2599.99). However, Olympus has a new trade in bonus on selected cameras, so if you use it, you can get an extra $200 off the price (i.e. $2399.99). A win if you have something to trade in, a lose if not.
  • E-m5 mark II body only is the same, but you can now get another $100 with the trade in program.
  • There is also a new E-m5 mark II package that includes the 14-150mm mark II lens.
  • E-m5 mark III body only and combination with the 14-150mm mark II lens deals are the same. Note, the E-m5 mark III is NOT listed in the trade-in program.
  • E-m1 mark II + 12-200mm lens deal is the same, but the trade-in allowance will give you an extra $100.
  • E-m1 mark II body only deal previously was $400 off, now it is only $300 off, but with the trade-in program, you get an extra $200 off the body only.
  • E-m10 mark III + 14-42mm EZ: Same deal.
  • E-m10 mark II + various lenses: Same deal.
  • E-PL9 body only: Same deal.
  • E-PL9 + 14-42mm EZ: Same deal.
  • Tough TG-6: Same deal.
  • Tough Tracker: Same deal.
