There was a fair amount of squeaking the last time there was a sale... Don't mean to be a wet blanket, but wasn't the E-M1ii around $1000 a few weeks/couple months ago? Or was that refurb'd?

Either way, good luck with the treasure hunt!

I don't understand the E-M10.2 pricing compared to the other E-M10s. Mistake perhaps?

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II TWO LENS KIT BLACK BODY WITH 14-42MM IIR & 40-150MM F4.0-5.6 R BLACK LENSES $400 before discount.

But then, all body only, E-M10 (I assume mark 1) $480, mark 3 $520, mark 4 $560 and then any others with a lens included are $560 and up.

So for the M10.2 + 2 lenses for $320 after 20% discount, seems out of sync with the rest of them.

Yes the Olympus outlet has had strange pricing.
My guess is part of the pricing may be based on how much they have, and want to sell.
If they have a LOT of EM10-mk2, then they may drop the price more, just to move them.

I recall their refurb prices earlier in the year was HIGHER than sale price on NEW stuff  That made no sense.
And the sales price wasn't very good. Like they raised the price before the sale, so the effect of the sale on some/many items was minimum to not at all.
This time, at least the stuff that I looked at was more like the old 20% off sale, where the sale price was attractive enough to get me to bite.

Just for fun I input the three items from the kit into MPB's quote system. They offered $313 to buy them. Maybe MPB should hop on this sale and pick up that kit. :p

First we jack up the refurb price and then give you a discount...now, don't you feel better?

Holy Smokes! Where was that 2 weeks ago when I bought a new one. After the last refurb sales I had no faith that the old 20% off would come back so I didn't wait.

Yup, the last "sale" price was $380, same as on Amazon. So I did not bite.
I figured I did not need it till next March, when the softball/baseball season starts, so I had plenty of time to wait for a sale or a used one to show up.

And some of that silliness is still there.
I just checked, the 40-150R "refurb" is still listed at $160. So with a 20% discount, down to $128. That is still above what the old refurb price of $100 was.
So you still have to check the prices.

I got that lens brand new for $99 and Olympus used to have the refurb listed for $59.

Just snagged a 17mm f1.2 Pro lens for $832 with the discount and free 2 day shipping. While a bit more than you might find used by private party, this one comes with a 90 day warranty and full 30 day refund. KEH has a used one listed for $959 on Amazon, so the discounted price seems fine to me.

I just bought an HLD-9 battery grip for the EM-1 ii for 127.99 plus a tax of about $10.00. I almost bit for a new one a couple of months ago for $279. Good deal but broke my resolution of no more stuff but wife uses this camera and wanted it.

I'm also tempted by the HLD-9.
But then I would be up near my dSLR, which I was trying to get lighter.
Well at least it is removable, so I would not be stuck with the extra weight, like the EM1X.

I'm very happy finding an Olympus Pro 25mm f1.2 for $832 with the SUMMER20 discount and free 2 day shipping. Seems like a great sale for what I was looking for.

I took the plunge and bought a OM-D-E Mark 5iii camera and a new pair of binoculars.
