Interesting. I've always thought the link between patents and actual lenses was somewhat weak, but I suppose that everything produced is patented (along with all the paper patents that never see glass).

I'll take more primes with heritage like the 25/1.8 and especially 75/1.8. Even if the price is high it's something to aspire to

Although I love my 25 1.4 Panny, I'm interested in a new 25 that is more in line with my Nocticron. Having it made by Olympus might make it better on my MK5 MII as well.
