Precision Camera and Video put up this Nifty Olympus Pen F review and it was great to watch!
Very pleasant female reviewer - lovely smile and relaxed attitude !
Great demonstration of how the filters are applied - which makes the process very clear and shows how straightforward it is to use these features
As with all M43 cameras it is clearly easy to see the difference the settings and filter adjustments have on the image in real time
Thanks for posting
Great reviews. I had a film Pen F, and liked the way it felt in the hand . . . unfortunately, it eventually died of old age issues. I have rented the new Pen F to give it a test run. Eager for it to get here.
Nobody in any review I've seen has made mention of the Excellent bundled mini flash supplied with the Pan-F.
Its nothing short of amazing as unlike most add ons that are just an afterthought thats produced as cheaply as possible, this one is well spec'd and well thought out.
Its literally a mini speedlite offering full bounce and swivel and as well as all the usual TTL modes, full manual control as well with variable power from full to 1/64th!
For the first time we have a bundled offering that can do more that just provide basic flash facilities and often stay in the box, this one however is eminently useful, the only things it really lacks over a full size speedlite is lack of zoom and less power than its full size brothers.
It really is a notch in Olympus's belt and they deserve praise for being so bold and going the extra mile for Pen-F owners to give them a better tool for the job than anyone else offers.
The bundled flash is the same one as supplied with the E-M5 MKII
