Olympus patent on variable exposures

    The rough Google translate shows that Olympus is going to allow the camera to use different exposure times of the scene and combine? Not sure if this is something that would be done in RAW or post processed in-camera to JPEG.

    Hmmm, I think it's probably going to be for jpeg, and looks like it's a different (but neat) interface for the highlight + shadow control, it would work nicely on something like the E-PM series that has less control dials. The Highlight + shadow control on the E-M5 is jpeg only, doesn't effect raw.

    I think it's a good idea. It would be nice to have it even on higher end bodies. I would much rather have this feature than some of the art filters.
