I'm ready to pull the trigger on the E-M5 II.

Olympus has a promotion now so I can get the Mark II and the 12-40 for $1,898; $200 off.

I have the Mark I and like the updates to the Mark II. I'm retiring in two weeks and this might be my last chance to afford a camera like this.

So, my question is this: Should I be better off buying from Olympus directly or from Amazon?

    Thanks.

One more thing: What about extended Warranties?

Between those two, I would go with the cheapest price. Olympus and Amazon are both good sellers. And I would skip the extended warranties.

Whichever gets it fastest. :) for me that's Amazon as long as it's Prime shipping. Price is a factor too so if it's close I like the fast delivery.

Olympus charges tax, in my state at least.

I'd go with Olympus. Amazon has great service but the number of products I've bought from there that have been defective is enough to make me think something is up with their stock.
