    It's also easier on the photographer if you are shooting handheld. In the studio I've managed to get 1600 shots out of two Oly batteries with no signs of dying.

    Interesting; thanks for that needed insight. I am about to try my first studio work with mine once it's back in hand. I tried last week using my 45mm on my PEN P-3 and liked the framing results after using a Canon on tripod with a widish zoom on it (the subject's own camera). I was much more at ease with the PEN in HAND (not stand) but only popped off a few shots as we were done for the day.

    And BTW, you may want to specify to Santa to bring the BLACK 12mm kit for something different....
