    Well, that is super cool!

Ugh, I wonder if my Nik plugins will go back to not working if I try to run the from 4.1RC2?

Thanks for this. I can finally process the E-M5 RAWs to get a clear picture (no pun intended) on its performance.

I didn't see any mention of flickr, so my guess is no. But I don't have an account to test it with.

    what's wrong with it? I don't have a problem w/ 4.0

Also, maybe E-M5 support isn't finalized, so it's not listed officially? But if it's opening the files now, that is promising. Maybe I'll have LR support before I actually get my camera.

This is awesome... but why a separate download and not simply an update from within Lightroom?

I agree and when I did download it it lost all my print settings, I haven't checked other settings such as smugmug plugins but I wouldn't be surprised if they are gone too :(

Seems to have broken in 4.1RC.

Upgrading from 4.0? That shouldn't happen, though plugins are sort of a gray area in terms of support (things get broken/unbroken regularly).

    Wireless? Sounds interesting!

If you aren't an E-M5 shooter, the biggest feature in RC2 is the new Defringe controls. They've had a largely useless 'Defringe' command for a while, but it never dealt with severe purple fringing. Also, longitudinal CA has been impossible to get rid of easily forever. The LR 4.1 now has a tool to remove both.

I ran it through some images from my FD 135/2, which can fringe really badly (as well as some other lenses), and it works very well. It's got some quirks, but overall it's quite awesome. Even got rid of the horrible cyan background fringing on my Hexanon 57, which can be really bad in some cases outdoors.

I did a writeup with a bunch of examples on my blog: Lightroom 4.1′s Newest Great Feature @ Admiring Light

No problem with 4.0. They broke it with 4.1 (RC1). You can't publish to flickr.
It was a known error, so I had to re-install 4.0.

Neat! Thanks for the link. LoCA has been a bit of a pet peeve of mine on fast lenses. This will help a lot.

Yee-haw! I can now do color balancing properly.

Also thanks to Jman for pointing out the new defringe tools- saying the the old defringe was useless was putting it mildly.
