Hi John,@saladin Jason, I reckon that would make an excellent big print. A2 minimum. Lovely shot.
I reckon the composition of form and colour of the other one is better balanced, mate. Just IMO.Hi John,
I ended up running a similar shot at 20x16 inch.

I think I'll run a copy of the shot you commented on too. Not sure which I prefer, but for varying reasons.

Since they won't work together due to mixing brands, if you have the stabilization switch "on" on the lens, that's what takes priority. Switch it to "off" to use IBIS, though I don't recommend that. OIS seems to help more on longer lenses than IBIS.First photo early this morning with the new E-M5 Mark III and the Panasonic Leica 100-400 lens. I had the OIS on and the IS on, so I am not sure which one controlled, but it worked as an experiment at 1/10 second.

Thanks. The OIS should have been off on the first picture (with the 45mm macro lens), that likely would have produced a sharper image given the camera's system.Since they won't work together due to mixing brands, if you have the stabilization switch "on" on the lens, that's what takes priority. Excellent result. And impressing quality at ISO 1600.First photo early this morning with the new E-M5 Mark III and the Panasonic Leica 100-400 lens. I had the OIS on and the IS on, so I am not sure which one controlled, but it worked as an experiment at 1/10 second.
Curious your view on either combination?Yesterday I got some stellar photos of a Mississippi Kite with the Panasonic G9 and PL 100-400. This morning, he was there again, and I tried the E-M5 Mark III with the PL 100-400. Unfortunately, I only got three shots before he flew off, and I did not get as close, but here is one at 140%. The sun is just over the horizon at his back.
