I know this beauty is available at a few places already this weekend, so let's see what this camera can do!

I'm stoked to get my first OM-D as soon as B&H sends them out this week! (They told me I was #4 out of about 60 pre-orders last week :))

When you guys (and girls) post your images, could you post at least the lens that was used to create the image? :) The more info the better (shutter speed, focal length, ISO, whether it has pp or not, lighting used/not used, etc) but at a minimum, it would be nice to know which lens was used so that we can know what's possible with different setups.

    Thanks!

Same. Supposed to have it today, but shipments delayed due to weather. More snow expected tonight, so I have no idea when I'll get my camera. At this rate, maybe next week! :-/

Patiently waiting for my battery to finish charging... having said that, I'm impressed at how clean the darks are at ISO1,000 compared to my G6!

Wow, that is clean. Master Chief is looking good! Did you use the 45mm to take that, mate?

My first shot using the High-res mode for landscape. I know, this is not allowed, but anyway. ;)

Very nice!! But I'm gonna try to pretend I don't want this camera :rolleyes-38:

(It would be great to see the regular 16 megapixel frame too ;))

Very nice...have you tried shooting back-to-back high-res and normal res images? If yes, how do they compare? If you notice a difference...at what size would you say they become real-world relevant? (Web size, small prints, large prints?) Cheers!

I uploaded the picture from the 16 megapixel RAW. It is on iCloud, I don't know how to embed it here. This is the link.

To be honest, I couldn't see much of a difference on my Retina MacBook Pro. I have no idea, how big I would need to print it to see a difference.

Update: I figured out how the embedding works with iCloud. I hope you can see the picture.

This is the 16 MP version:

I can't see the embedded pics but I had a look at the link.

I can see a difference (improvement!) on my 2009 27" iMac. Is it a big difference? NO, but it's there. I guess you can safely say that 16 megapixel images from these cameras are really really good! Do I like the HiRes? Yes, and I would really like to have that option. There is something little extra there for sure :)
If they can make it hand-holdable, even better! Exciting times.

Keep the pics coming! I will start saving up (but wont get one until the price has come down a fair bit. Or, when I win on the lottery)

I see you shot this with the P7-14.
I wonder if you have found the MKII less prone to the "purple blob" issue with that lens?
