Nope--My back yard in New Mexico. I'll post another shot later that shows the bird's colors better.

Hello, I bought a PanaLeica 100-400 a week ago to use with my Oly em10II but, in the shop the guy let me have a go with the new EM1II... It was love at first sight!
First of all the grip, how I felt in my hands.
So I'd like to ask how it goes coupled with the PanaLeica 100-400, because some guys have suggested me to buy a Panasonic G80 as for the double IS.
Which one should I go for?
Thank you,
Fabrizio

You've answered your own question.

As for how it works with the Oly, it works good. I wouldn't buy the G80 because I own the lens, buy the body that better suits you're style (primarily video... Panasonic, primarily photo... Olympus).

Having said that I think the G80 is not on the same level as the E-M1 MarkII, its more G80=E-M5 markII and GH5=E-M1 markII, and since the GH5 is unreleased at this time, the E-M1 markII stands alone.

There's a whole thread on the mkII plus PL 100-400.

Does anyone have any side by side comparison pics of the EM1.2 and the EM1? I would like to see if the IQ increase is noticeable.

I don't have any side by sides, but having owned both I can tell you there is a "difference". The big difference IMO is that the E-M1 has an older Panasonic sensor of 16mpx, vs a brand new 20 mpx Sony sensor. Now, since I like what the Sony sensors give out better than what the Panny sensors do, for me there is an IQ difference. Beyond that the new model has less noise (and smaller noise) as well as more crop ability.

Just my opinion and it's very unscientific.....

Diego, it's hard to not admire your exposures on this forum. I'm curious as to your approach to a starscape like this. I know there's a bulb option and stacked time lapse variants which most photographers will use to get this startrail effect. Since you shoot with and OMD, do you use live composite instead?
