    I ordered black one.
Another interesting thing. On my question to support which version is it, R as described or not R as on picture, the guy told me they don't know that.

I special ordered the silver one; thanks for the tip. My daughters steal my black non-R all the time. The picture for the silver color shows the R lens, hopefully we will find out in a week or two.

As much as I prefer primes I ordered it too. It's just too cheap! I also ordered the silver so we'll see what happens. If it's a pricing error will they honor it?

Henry's is probably the most reliable online and storefront vendor I've ever dealt with. I expect that if it's still up, they'll honor it.

You only had to pay a few dollars more since Olympus is collecting tax. If my damn VA check gets in tomorrow I will be getting one then.

Oh wow, and I just bought a factory demo version of the 40-150 lens (non-R version) from Cameta for $60 more!

This is going back right away. Anyone know if Cameta does price-matching? I wasn't able to find anything about it on their website.

    Thanks for sharing this.

At $100.00, it's a better deal than the body cap lens. So light and easy to carry, it'll be fun for that extra reach. I like the fact that it's 58mm at the filter. That complements my filter plan; same size for my 75 and 12-35; and I have step up rings for those lenses whose front threads are less than 58mm.

Ordered one. Downgrading from 14-150 to 12-50 + 40-150. Had to pay tax but couldn't beat that price!

    Purely cosmetic.

Get this lens. For $99.99 you might as well have it in your kit unless you already have the range covered.

To me it looks like from the size of the front element, the 40-150 could even use a smaller than 58mm filter size. This thread seems to indicate that people have used a 52mm mounted on a step down ring without issue: Smaller filters on M. Zuiko 40-150mm?: Micro Four Thirds Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

I have a really nice 77mm CPL, but I also have a Heliopan 52mm CPL that I'd prefer to use if possible. It looks like I may be able to.

Yep, just didn't know about the Olympus deal until after I clicked the "special order - can't cancel - wait forever" button at Henry's. But... I have heard a few say they are pretty good and I'm not in a hurry. Gotta love our northern neighbors (especially considering what they put up with).

I RMA'ed the 40-150 non-R factory demo I bought from Cameta for $160, and just placed my order for one on the Olympus site.

Friendly reminder: if you're still holding-off on buying this lens for whatever reason (sale ends on 2/16/13), consider buying now as today (2/11/13) is the last day for free 2-day shipping in the US.
