how does this lens behave with autofocus in indoor light, especially with children? Any thoughts or experience would be helpful.

The lens focuses fast and accurate and produces sharp (relatively compared to other kit lenses) images in normal indoor lighting with om-d em5.

But you probably have to worry about your subjects moving because it is slow (fstop) compared to primes.

Generally it is excellent all around very versatile lens. Only lens I regret selling.

Thanks. I bought the lens from Olympus refurbished. It's the lens my wife wanted to get with the new em1. I get the camera tomorrow. We have a one month old son. So I am hoping by the time he gets moving fast I will have another lens. I guess it will have to do for now. Also wondering how well it will work with the included flash
