Thanks for posting. I consider this lens one of the real bargains in the m43 system. In good light, it produces great results.

I "snagged" one of these at this price last month from B&H. This lens is crazy sharp, I'll be using it more than my Lumix 45-200, it's smaller and lighter too!

+1 I bought this lens when it dropped to $99 last year but the results are worth at least x3. The only thing is zoom ring is not that smooth and all plastic construction. BUT can't complain, and it should be in every m43 user's kit. Or simply there is no excuse for not having this lens at this price point.

Today is the last day of this deal guys. I just ordered one of these + lens hood + UV filter for $136 shipped on Amazon.

I intend to buy the 40-150 f2.8 PRO due out later this year and I wanted to start getting a feel for the focal length right now.

I picked one of these up brand new locally for $90 and man what a great lens for the money. I mean its as plastic as you can get them but the IQ and AF are at-least worth 3x the price they charge for this lens. Like someone else said above, great lens when light is available and tbh the FL that Im going to use this lens at (80mm+) its basically outdoor FL anyways. I can see this being a great lens to take to the zoo for example.

The 40-150mm R went back up to full price on B&H, but on Amazon it's $129 for the lens alone and $154 with a hood and UV filter, which is not as low as it was but still not a bad price.

True, but would you buy from a seller named "Fungible Trader?"

Same here... I bought mine direct from Olympus for $99. I have not been disappointed. If one has any interest at all in this lens, there's no reason not to jump on this deal.
  11. I agree.

I just jumped into the mft world with an E-M1, 12-40, and 17 1.8. Well, that's all I thought I'd buy. The Olympus store had the lens on for $119 Canadian. I will likely buy the 40-150 f2.8 when it comes out, but for $119, I'll keep this one. It's just so light and convenient!
