Looks like a bunch of lenses have $150 (prepaid card) rebates with purchase of an E-M5 body. The M.45mm f1.8 and M.75mm f1.8 lenses are among those listed.

Sounds like a great deal for those in the market for this body and lens.

    Just spoke to https://olympus.rebateaccess.com/contact.php
The rebates do require an E-M5 purchase
so if you rebate the HLD-6 or a viewfinder thru
    Featured Weekly Deals | Olympus
you do not have to buy an E-M5 (different rebate form)
    rebate it thru https://olympus.rebateaccess.com
and you have to buy an E-M5
This is the third olympus screw up
    1. The early morning pricing errors last week
    2. Saying there is $50 rebate on the HLD-6 and it's $229 after rebate
Bad math or a typo. Web site now says $249
    3. https://olympus.rebateaccess.com does not mention the requirement to buy an E-M5
    Only says:

This offer runs from 01/03/2013 until 01/27/2013. Mail all required documentation to the address listed on the mail-in form. Submissions must be postmarked by 02/15/2013. There is a limit of (3) rebate(s) per item, and a limit of (3) per person. Reproduction, purchase, sale or trade of this proof-of-purchase or cash register receipt is prohibited. Fraudulent submission could result in federal prosecution under mail fraud statute (Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1341 and 1342).

    From the B&H rebate page:

Lenses must be purchased at the same time as an E-M5 to
qualify. Up to 3 lenses may be claimed.
Purchase must be made between January 3, 2013 and
January 27, 2013. Claims must be postmarked by February 15, 2013.

I did buy the body, a lens, and the grip. I printed out and read the rebate forms.

The lens rebate very clearly states that you need to buy it with the body.

The grip rebate very clearly does not mention anything about having to buy a body.

Thats on the printed rebate forms but not mentioned on the online rebate

They are running three different rebates side by side
    with different and conflicting requirements.

This rebate seems to allow you to buy up to 3 of the same item. That's pretty good if you know someone buying a kit and you want to tag along to buy 2 macro lens or 2 45mm.

Return the camera and reissue the receipt. That's what my brother did. The store doesn't care.

Can you get $150 for the kit lens if you buy it as a kit? Making the final price $1199-150= $1049? Or do you only get the rebate when you buy a 12-50mm separately for $499?

No I don't think you can. You have to send in the UPC code and the kit only comes with the one. You can only get rebate on lens sold separately.
