Olympus GS-5 Grip Strap for E-M1 & HLD-7....any good.

    I fancy the idea, as I always wrap the strap around me wrist when carrying my camera.

    Also I like low-down shots and the strap dangles on the ground and generally gets in the way.

    BUT, and there's a big BUT, when changing lenses I always put the strap around me neck to free-up both hands.

    Seems as if I can't win :dash2:

    It is used on the EM% as well.

    I haven't figured this out yet either.
    I like the included neck strap for changing lenses too, but it would hit my kid when I bend down to pick him up, or smash against things.

    now I'm using the gariz hand grip strap with the HLD-6. It's nice when I don't need to juggle other things.

    for those other moments, I might look for a strap with a length between a neck strap and writs strap.

    I've always used GS grip straps on my FT gear. However I find a Blalck Rapid wrist strap does a good job with the EM1 and EM5.
