Olympus FL-300R Compact Flash $40 After Rebate at Amazon.

I pre-ordered one of these this weekend after they sold out. Amazon wasn't providing any delivery estimate at the time of my order. I just got an e-mail with an updated delivery estimate of 3/18-19, so it looks like I'll get it in time to redeem the MIR.

Same for me. I per-ordered this weekend too and initially was just told it would ship when they get it. I just received an email giving an estimated arrival time of 3/19-23.

I also noticed the pre-order link is now an order link with a delivery estimate of 1-2 months. My experience with AMAZON is that they will ship sooner than they estimate.

Most likely, but you also need to have the rebate in the mail by 4/15, so you don't have THAT much leeway.

Invoice says ordered on date
an old invoice says day ordered day shipped (which are different)
depends which date Olympus uses- Ship date or order date?
I think it would be order date, but that's just me
suppose you bought it in a store and paid for it ahead of time
wouldn't that would be the valid date?

That's what pending means. They make sure you have the money on the card but haven't claimed it yet.

But I'll wait a while to see if they ship sooner, I've had them do that to me before.

Amazon is King!!!

Shipment is tracking to be due here 3/14. Amazon is way ahead of schedule.

Already went to www.rebateaccess.com and registered the rebate. You can print the form from there. Print your invoice from Amazon for a receipt (I called and verified with Oly that this is good), and now I just need the UPC label from the Package and I can send it in.

If this goes well, sometime after I have forgotten or given up on ever receiving a rebate, a small poorly marked check will arrive in the mail and if I don't throw it out assuming it's junk mail, I will have my rebate.....

Got mine in time, but returned it after playing with it for a few days.

I kept on getting underexposed pictures and had to play with the flash exposure compensation to get it to look right on my E-M5 and E-PM2.

Also, it makes this terrible charge noise that is way over the top compared to any other flash units that I have owned.
