Even though E-P5 doesn't interest me at all, I gotta admit it looks REALLY cool.

I looks cool, but I'll just repeat my message of it should have a built in VF and I'd snatch one up in no time.

    The E-P5 looks great!

I am one of these people that said they didn't need a built-in viewfinder, but after having the E-M5, I would really miss not having one there all the time.

I wonder if the new external VF could somehow be more streamlined on how it mounts to the camera? Maybe slightly more compact with less overhang, something that blends in better visually?

Add another one who's really digging the P5 looks. I may have to get one for my wife... yeah... my "wife".

This might be key. Also, will it lock in place. I'll bet its both less bulky, and locks. Still, I really need the VF, so built in would be better. Want to read more about the controls.

Looks like an ep-3 with a body kit installed. I personally think that an em-5's sensor is enough of an upgrade for me (same statement I said about the e-pm2), but a built-in EVF would have been nice.

Yeah, I can see where they are trying to differentiate the PEN from the OMD, but a rangefinder style corner viewfinder that was smaller than that on the OMD would have been a smart move. It makes the Px line a clear upgrade from the PLx line, while not cutting into the OMD market much.

Panasonic is able to have two different lines of cameras with built in EVFs, for example. The G5/G6 is simply a non-weathersealed less featured version of the GH3 really. Olympus could have done the same with the E-P5, but with even more distinct body styles.

It's beautiful which makes me even more devastated that it doesn't have an EVF. . .

with the 17mm 1.8 being a kit lens offered with the ep5, we're likely to see a price drop in the 17mm that everyone has been hoping for (actually since, I've already bought the 17mm 1.8, I'm hoping it doesn't depreciate TOO much)

Oh and forgot to mention... the kodak camera looks pretty ugly at the moment, but I welcome to addition the m4/3rd world. More choices = better.

Yeah, I don't like it that much. But for those who don't like retro styling it could be nice.

I'm curious about who designed the kit lens on the Kodak, and if they have others lined up. From the pics it looks like the now standard 14-42 zoom, but at 3.7-5.3 rather than 3.5-5.6.

I, also, think that the EP5 looks pretty cool. However, like others, I have already purchased my last camera without an EVF.

Looks lovely to me. Doesn't even need an Aki Asai skin. I'll be in the queue when it comes to the UK.

Yeah, I've have Zukio 17mm f/1.8 as well. I also got the kit 14-42mm zoom with my E-PM2. I sure hope this new Pen will be offered in body-only form.
