Looks to be on the large size. But, it would hold basically my entire lens lineup & EM1 body w. grip. Maybe even my second body, an IR converted EM5. Pricey at $316...would like to see it in person beforehand.
Hi Tornado; the Olympus site is not very user-friendly, but there's 2 products there; one is a large case for bodies + lenses; the new product (linked above) is a small case just for the body and a medium lens.
The page and pictures are a mess.
Anyways, it appears to be missing pockets and other useful items so I'll probably get the Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 10 (or possibly mm5 if it's big enough) instead.
I have this case and I like it - perfectly fits my E-M1 with 12-40mm. It makes great combination with CBG-10 (which I am planing to buy in near future).
Also I don't see anything confusing or non user-friendly on Olympus site, all the pictures are related to the CS-42SF case.
I wonder how this compares to Think Tank's Digital Holster 10 V2 with the pop-down bottom feature:
Could you please weight the CS42SF. I couldn't find this info ?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Mu-43 mobile app
It weights 158 grams.
I did this research some time ago, there is good presentation on this site: http://asia.olympus-imaging.com/products/dslr/accessories/special/cbg10/ (and also lot of information about it). And because it's big enough to take my zD 50-200mm I just ordered it.
There is 3-5 working days delivery time, when I have it at home I will post some info about it (probably by the end of next week).
great looking bag, but what a price!
No, there is no padding, here is one quick shot:
